Only counts rounds with the Motherlode in this range. Max 0 means no limit. On /mine, Steady stops above 140, Split only and Solo hunter above 90, Motherlode starts at 100 and Nonstop has no limit; Custom on /mine and ORE Parties set their own range.

Five ways to spend the same budget. All use the live market numbers and how pots change with the Motherlode. Time includes the pauses while the Motherlode sits above the cap.

On /mine, five ready strategies (Steady, Split only, Solo hunter, Motherlode, Nonstop) set the tiles and Motherlode range for you. Custom sets your own solo and split tiles and Motherlode range, so all of these can be run there.

Motherlode cap: what it changes

Pots grow as the Motherlode grows, so a lower cap means smaller pots and better solo odds per SOL, but fewer rounds mined and smaller Motherlode payouts. Same budget, tiles and min Motherlode as above.

Same budget, different sizes

Your budget at other SOL-per-tile sizes, same tiles. Bigger tiles mean more solo odds per round but fewer rounds.

How this is calculated
  • Each round one of 25 tiles wins at random. 10 tiles per round are solo tiles, fixed before anyone deploys; the rest are split tiles.
  • Split round: 1 ORE is shared by everyone on the winning tile, by SOL share. Solo round: one miner on the winning tile takes the 1 ORE, picked at random weighted by SOL.
  • SOL: ORE gives every miner their own SOL back each round, minus a 1% admin fee on every tile and 10% of the rest on tiles that lose. On average that costs about 10.5% of what you deploy, whatever the pot size. SOL does not move between players, so your SOL balance drains smoothly.
  • ORE's Explore "production cost" counts only the 10% fee, divided by the 1.2 ORE minted each round (1 ORE plus 0.2 into the Motherlode), averaged over 20 rounds. The calculator adds about 10% for the 1% admin fee, and another 10% when you claim.
  • Motherlode: 1 in 500 rounds; the whole pool goes to the winning tile by SOL share. Expected value uses the typical pool inside your Motherlode range.
  • Assumes every tile holds about the same SOL. Real rounds vary, so read results as averages.
  • Run results use how pots moved with the Motherlode over 35,655 rounds (Sep–Oct 2026): pots ran about 8% below average with the Motherlode under 50 and up to 50% above it past 300. Your current pot size is scaled to each Motherlode range from that.
